| [Card Review] 2nd card review from "SAGA" is NOBLEMAN, steady card among green, scoring cards group. Yes, it doesn't have any text and icon. You can think it's not impressive at all. But, think it twice. "SAGA" is the game for scoring bigger than others. "3" on this card is a big advantage. In "SAGA", every card has 1 to 5 points. 3 seems to be in average, but isn't. Look at the table below.
In average, you can get less than 2 from a card and most card with 3 or more points is a single card in the deck. The only cards with 3 or more that you can play several in once is WITCH and NOBLEMAN. Yes, it has no text but this is not just a disadvantage. THIEF in your hand, for example, is a problem while all players are trying to finish the game by playing cards. NOBLEMAN can play in anytime whithout hesitating and get big points. But be careful. This is a big point card, as you know, so it can be a target of FAIRY or KNIGHT oftenly. But if you keep it in your hand to avoid it, you'll get serious penalty if someone other finish the game by collecting. You have to keep eye on the game and play it in right time. This is really a non-impressive card, but because of it, players need skills to find when to use it. |
